Providers Required to Apply for Accreditation
In accordance with the TVET Act, 2025, the following entities are required to apply for UVTAB Assessment Centre Accreditation.

Applicants must submit the following documents and evidence.
Valid Licence
A valid Licence issued by the TVET Council. A Registration Certificate may also be submitted if available, but it is not required.
Physical & Practical Infrastructure
Sufficient infrastructure: assessment halls, functional workshops, laboratories, farms, salons, and other specialised practical training facilities relevant to accredited programmes.
Minimum Candidate Enrolment
A minimum enrolment of 30 candidates, with at least 5 candidates per programme or occupation.
Programmes & Enrolment Breakdown
An outline of TVET Council-accredited programmes, including training duration and total trainee enrolment for each.
Institution Management Structure
Attach the management structure of the TVET Provider and its organogram.
Evidence of Trainers' Employment
Copies of appointment letters or contracts of employment, teaching qualifications, and TVET Council licence for each teacher/trainer/instructor/staff employed by the TVET Provider, on a full-time or part-time basis.
Head of TVET Providers
Contact details, qualifications, and contract duration for the Head of the TVET Provider and the Registrar/Director of Studies.
Strong Room for Assessment Materials
Evidence of a secure, lockable strong room designated for the storage of assessment materials, with controlled access limited to authorised personnel.
Assessment Focal Persons
Names of at least three (3) people who shall act as focal persons for purposes of assessments.
Memorandum of Understanding (Optional)
MoU with the world of work for continuous assessment, industrial training, and real-life exposure, if any.
Proof of Payment
Proof of payment of application fees as set and prescribed by the Board, made in the institution's name.
